Submissions

Guidelines

We accept poetry and prose of all types.
We've put out some music and visual art in the past.
If you've got something that blends or annihilates any of these categories, send that, too.

If your literary work jives with the definition of art that commences the Manifesto, send it our way. If it does not, we may still publish it, provided it's good for a laugh.

We will never apply moral censorship of any type, but we will make judgments of taste. That said, our current acceptance rate is above 50%. Somehow the right people seem to find us, and persistently.

Submission Procedure

Please email submissions as .docx or .pdf attachments to vonstillej@gmail.com.

We'll take submissions in English, German, French, or a mix of the three.

Indicate in your email whether you would like for your work to appear under
1. Your name
2. A pseudonym
3. No name

Include a biographical statement in the body of your email, if you want.
It can be as short or as long as you wish.
If it is better than your submission, we may offer to publish it as a standalone piece.
For the love of all that's holy, don't write a cover letter unless it erupts from your ecstatic bowels.

If you submit a particularly long work, please indicate whether you would like for it to be published as a whole or serialized.

Simultaneous submissions are welcomed. Just let us know if someone else snaps up the goods.
Reprints are equally welcomed, so long as you have the rights to them.

As for us, we claim no exclusive rights to anything on our site,
but we ask that you cite us in republications thereof.

We'll respond to every submission personally:
If we like your stuff but don't accept it this time, send more.
Response times vary, but they're quicker than average (usually under a week).

We are not presently a paying market.
